Hello food fighter!!!
Do you ever hear about
street food? Yap, street food is a ready-to-eat food or drink sold by a hawker,
or vendor, in a street or other public place, such as at a market or fair. (Wikipedia)
What I love from street food is the price, yes the price is cheaper than
restaurants meals. Many of people still suspect that the street food is not health
and hygienic, but I think it depends on us, right?
Now, let me introduce
about a place that served a lot of Street Food in Semarang.

Waroeng Semawis is a
market that located in Chinatown area in Semarang. Waroeng Semawis is
originated from Pasar Imlemk Semawis that opened three days before Imlek, but
now Waroeng Semawis not only open before Imlek but open 3 days every Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday at night.

In Waroeng Semawis we can find many kind of
street food, and actually most of them are Chineese food but we also can find
Pisang Planet from Semarang until Tteobokki from South Korea. So interesting,
right? In Waroeng Semawis there are chairs and table if a visitor wants to enjoy
the meal, but sometimes we must waiting to have a seat.
I recommend for
Semarang people to visit Waroeng Semawis and you will changed your mind about
street food. This is the good way to taste street food in Semarang!
